PEP GUARDIOLA's career at Manchester City could be set to start without Champions League football, according to Ladbrokes.
The Citizens' top-four hopes suffered a major blow after losing the Manchester derby 1-0 on Sunday, and it's just 8/5 that the Etihad club begin life under Guardiola without a place in Europe's premier club competition next season.
Having won just one of their last six Premier League games, it's 11/8 Manuel Pellegrini departs City by failing to land a top-four spot, while it's 9/2 the Chilean quits before the end of the season.
Despite the rocky patch, it's unlikely to cause Guardiola to think twice, with the bookies making it a 50/1 shot that City miss out on the top four and Pep doesn't take charge of the club this summer.
Richard Marsh of Ladbrokes News said: "City's recent run is really hindering their chances of Champions League football next season, but whatever happens, it's hard to see Guardiola turning his back on the club before he's even got there."
